Why You Should Target The 15th Best WR2
Hear me out...
Stefon Diggs recently said there is no WR2 in the NFL better than him.
Unfortunately for him, our very own Joe Metz was happy to call his bluff … and found 14 different WR2s he’d confidently draft over Diggs.
But if we are going to be charitable to Diggs—and I’m not sure we should be—I do wonder if he’s directionally accurate here.
Because if the statement Diggs posed was instead, “I am extremely undervalued in fantasy right now,” I think I would be inclined to agree.
Of all of the veteran FA WRs still floating around out there, Diggs is the one who I still think can be a significant factor in fantasy football this year.
He hauled in 85% of his targets last year and notched 10.13 yards per target (10th in the league) on his way to leading the Patriots' WRs in fantasy points (11.5 PPR/game) and clearing over 1,000 receiving yards.
Diggs is essentially free right now on ESPN (ADP: 163.8) and in the 130s almost everywhere else.
I think in even the worst-case scenarios—like signing with the Dolphins or Raiders—Diggs’ ADP inches up.
But there are also a few landing spots—like the Commanders or Ravens—where he would be a lock to rise 2+ rounds.
That’s what we call a “free roll” in the biz.
TLDR: He is crazy if he thinks he’s better than George Pickens and Tee Higgins … but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still be targeting him at these prices.

Dwain’s Running Back Tiers: Unlocking K9
How you attack the running back position in a fantasy draft says so much. Heavy-RB early means you want security. Hero-RB drafters need a little balance. Zero-RB drafters trust that they’ll figure things out by the fantasy playoffs. Dwain McFarland is looking to help all those drafters and anyone else with his annual in-depth look at Running Back Tiers.
While it may not adhere completely with his rankings, he takes into account several important factors to break down RBs into 16 Tiers. You can see the thought process in deciding between Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson at the top of drafts. He’ll look for the hidden key that could unlock a big season for Kenneth Walker. He’ll meticulously go all the way down to players like Nicholas Singleton, who just might be a factor late. This is one piece you’ll want to bookmark and refer to in your draft prep. ⤵️
Ready to Buy in on a Pair of Rookies?
Rookie hype is just so different. What we saw at the college level leaves us wishcasting those players doing the same things at the NFL level—and for our fantasy teams. Then come new offensive schemes, veterans at the same positions who need to get their own touches and the fact that NFL defenses may not be as “forgiving” as what the players saw in college.
Cooterdoodle looked at all that and then reminded us how vital Omar Cooper could—and should—become to the New York Jets. Yes, that Garret Wilson guy will draw plenty of attention, but there should be enough looks going Cooper’s way for the YAC Monster do some damage. Are you buying? ⤵️
Smash Saquon? Fade Skattebo?
Warning: An Arizona State player near and dear to Kendall may not have a fan in Lawrence Jackson Jr. What could Kendall and Lawrence have to say about him, and how can Pete play referee? They have plenty more RB drafts and fades to cover. Make sure to subscribe to the Fantasy Life Show YouTube channel to catch every episode. ⤵️
