Week 7 NFL Sunday Blitz
This export to England has to be better.
It’s time for Laghezza’s NFL Sunday Blitz, Week 7 edition.

Los Angeles Rams @ Jacksonville Jaguars, Line: LAR -2.5 O/U: 44.5
If we keep exporting terrible football to merry old England, we’re bound to start some sort of revolution. As far as fantasy goes, we know Devante Adams ascends to elite, god-tier status without Puka Nacua (expected to sit). My question’s how much of that remaining pie goes to Jordan Whittington, who averaged 5.3 grabs for 79.0 receiving yards in a Puka-less Week 5-7 span last year.
On Jacksonville’s end, we all want to know if Travis Hunter maintains full-time route participation. If your best guess is yes, the buy-low window closes early Sunday morning.
New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears, Line: CHI -4.5 O/U: 46.5
Chicago’s coming off three straight wins with at least 24 points scored, and just beat a really tough Commanders team. So, why are the Bears favored only slightly against the fifth-worst unit in terms of average point differential (-8.2)? The CHI secondary held up well against everyone but the Lions, so if it’s any indication, keep an eye out for big fantasy games from New Orleans’ WR duo Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.
If these Ben Johnson Bears are for real, expect Caleb Williams to attack the Saints' Cover-3 heavy scheme over the top in a huge bounce-back spot for Rome Odunze.
Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns, Line: CLE -2.5 O/U: 37.5
It’s movable force meets stoppable object as the woeful Browns’ offense tries to score over 17 points for the first time in 2025. Somehow, Cleveland trails Tennessee in points scored per game … inconceivable! Wind gusts or not, Dillon Gabriel has got to get it done against this bottom-3 defensive Miami squad or we may hear cries for Shedeur Sanders. (Oh yeah, Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. to the moon this weekend.)
New England Patriots @ Tennessee Titans, Line: NE -6.5 O/U: 42.5
It’s official—Drake Maye has arrived on the scene as the NFL’s next big thing against one of the worst collective units in recent memory. More than anything, the pump’s never been better primed for a usage spike from rookie RB TeVeyon Henderson. Oh, it’d be nice to see Stefon Diggs get back into the WR1 conversation as well.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs, Line: KC -12.5 O/U: 45.5
Stop me when you’ve heard this one before. After early bumps in the road led to surprising Kansas City losses, Patrick Mahomes is back on track and looking like a true Super Bowl contender. One question and one question alone this weekend … how high does Rashee Rice open up in next week’s Fantasy Life rankings?
Philadelphia Eagles @ Minnesota Vikings, Line: PHI -1.5 O/U: 43.5
Any real questions I have will need to wait until Kevin O’Connell and the Vikings announce a starting QB. Either way, it feels like a defensive dogfight is on deck as I prepare for even more disappointment from the Eagles’ A.J. Brown.
Carolina Panthers @ New York Jets, Line: CAR -1.5 O/U: 41.5
Anyone able to explain how the Jets project for more points without Garrett Wilson, please feel free to direct message me. I get these Panthers make for easy marks, but newsflash—no RBs have eclipsed +40 rushing yards against them in three weeks. The defense looks legit.
Maybe it’s the Jets fan talking, but I’d be shocked if Gang Green finds paint once. Tight end streamers, note Mason Taylor could see double-digit looks as NYJ’s top option.
New York Giants @ Denver Broncos, Line: DEN -7.5 O/U: 40.5
Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo may be the NFL’s most exciting rookie one-two punch — but they also possess all the subtlety of a Pachycephalosaurus (yes, the thick-headed dinosaur that rams things with its skull).
Facing Denver at Mile High is a perfect litmus test after trouncing the reeling Eagles, though frankly I’m worried Denver’s too strong in all phases for Big Blue to even stay close.
Indianapolis Colts @ Los Angeles Chargers, Line: LAC -1.5 O/U: 48.5
Going to be lots of fun for fantasy if the Colts and Chargers get near that 48.5-point game total. Great news for the Bolts. Both Quentin Johnston and Joe Alt logged limited practices, so now the question looms whether Ladd McConkey’s reign at the top was short like leprechauns.
Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys, Line: WSH -1.5 O/U: 54.5
Take note of the elevated 54.5-point game total, and queue up just about all your fantasy players whenever Dallas is involved. Superstar WR CeeDee Lamb is set to return Sunday without restrictions, and I can’t help but wonder which one of George Pickens or Jake Ferguson suffers the most. It was nice while it lasted…
On the flipside, Deebo Samuel (heel) is yet to practice, and Washington actually downgraded Terry McLaurin (quad) to DNP on Thursday after limited activity the day before. So I guess the only fantasy question is whether or not we’ve got the guts to scoop-and-start Chris Moore against the NFL’s worst pass defense. I’m not sure I do.
Green Bay Packers @ Arizona Cardinals, Line: GB -6.5 O/U: 44.5
Kyler Murray (foot) snuck in a limited practice Thursday, though the Cardinals won’t commit to Sunday’s status. Sorry to say, I doubt it matters much. Arizona generates just a 31.7% pressure rate, and Green Bay’s Jordan Love carves up secondaries whenever afforded time all season: 85-1070-9-1; 137.8 Passer Rating.
Last note, one more +8 target game makes three in a row for Romeo Doubs and perhaps an angle on the Packers’ pole position going forward. Still rostered in just two-thirds of leagues, you could reasonably acquire him as part of a low-leverage trade.
GOOD LUCK!

About Last Night …
Nothing like a little Throwback Thursday with the AFC North battle between the Steelers and Bengals. Aaron Rodgers went off for 249 yards and 4 TDs, while Joe Flacco said “hold my beer” and passed for 342 yards and 3 TDs, leading the game-winning drive in a 33-31 Bengals victory with plenty of fantasy implications. Starting with numero uno.
Who said Ja’Marr Chase’s production would drop without Joe Burrow? 16-161-1 on 23 targets says a different story.
Wait, we have a Pat Freiermuth (5-111-2) sighting on a 68-yard TD.
Jaylen Warren sure looks like the RB1 in Pittsburgh—158 scrimmage yards!
Yes, Chase Brown is very much alive after running for 108 yards.
Tee Higgins slides in with as quiet a 6-96-1 as you’ll see on TNF.

It’s Time To Trust TreVeyon Henderson
LAGHEZZA: When offenses begin to clearly ascend behind star quarterback play, the fantasy landscape is usually clamoring to grab a piece of that action. However, when it comes to New England’s backfield, there’s a game of fantasy hot potato happening in the NFL’s worst rush attack by EPA/attempt (-0.20).
Can you find me anyone, anywhere, still unironically bullish on the Patriot RBs? And I get it—sometimes eye tests and game film match the spreadsheets on cascading failures. Through six weeks of play, the four-win Pats posted just one top-10 RB weekly finish over a month ago. How is that even possible?
When the sharpest knives in our Fantasy Life drawer start to vent obvious frustrations, you can bet there’s a compelling argument behind it …
So, besides being a bit irregular, why am I jumping on TreVeyon Henderson when Ian’s right over the target as always? Honestly, for a spreadsheet honk, I’m not sure. It does feel like a classic bottom, though—and it’s not all vibes-based. Rhamondre Stevenson is hardly impressing anyone out there; his -0.41 EPA/attempt and 4.7% fumble rate are both the NFL’s worst among all RBs with at least 20 carries. Yikes.
We could even luck into a blowout—TEN has a -13 average point differential!—where both New England RBs eat against the Titans. Currently touchdown dogs at home with good reason, Tennessee ranks in the bottom three in yards after contact per rush (3.73) and fantasy points per game allowed to RBs (23.8).
If Henderson’s on your roster already, fine, you’ll survive sitting him. But if he’s not, one breakout game and it’s goodbye discount … for good. I’m making all types of last-ditch acquisition efforts as we speak.

Smash Start Jordan Mason in Week 7
These are not the same Eagles who put on a defensive clinic against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl eight months ago. We’re seeing it in how they are defending the running game in the 2025 season, as Mark Drumheller writes:
Here’s a sample of the success running backs have found against the Eagles so far this season.
Week 1: Javonte Williams | 19.4 FP
Week 3: Kyren Williams | 18.2 FP
Week 4: Bucky Irving | 23 FP
Week 6: Cam Skattebo | 30 FP
Jordan Mason and the Minnesota Vikings welcome the reeling Eagles to Minneapolis. Drumheller is really liking Mason as one of the smash plays for Week 7. He has others. ⬇️
