Tyreek Hill Speaking Tour
Um, maybe keep your opinions to yourself?
Look, I can remember playing Hokey Pokey as a kid during recess. You move your right foot in. You move your right foot out.
But Tyreek Hill is doing it all wrong! He’s constantly keeping one foot out the door—at all times.
It started back in January when he said he was ready to "open that door" and leave Miami behind after the team’s 8-9 finish. And I get it. Hill’s stats fell off of a metaphorical cliff last year (his first season finishing below 1,000 yards since 2019). And his worst since joining the Dolphins:
2024: 81-959-6 (oof)
2023: 119-1,799-13
2022: 119-1,710-7
But even with Hill walking back his threats statements, he’s never fully closed the door on that exit plan. Even Tua Tagovailoa seems unsure of where Hill stands on the matter, acknowledging that Miami’s WR1 needs to do more than just say sorry after his waveringly non-committal statements over the last few months. His ADP has fallen as a result.
As we near the start of the 2025 season, Hill is continuing to make remarks that have me wondering if he's ever going to be "fully in" on this offense.
One Foot Out The Door
Whether it's …
Hill sneaking in jabs about MIA’s WR coach, Robert Prince, stating that he’s gotten on Hill and Waddle’s nerves.
Hill admitting that he "didn't understand the offense” during his first three years (yes, all three) in Miami.
Hill taking shots at RB1 De'Von Achane, suggesting that the team would be better suited to take Achane out of the game on 3rd down.
It’s just brutal to watch unfold. After only 6 TDs in 2024, I really hope Hill can do the song and dance and "turn himself around" in 2025. Either that or someone take his microphone away …
Here’s how the Dolphins rank in fantasy land (and here are the projections):
De'Von Achane: RB6
Tyreek Hill: WR12
Tua Tagovailoa: QB21
Jaylen Waddle: WR29
Darren Waller (lol): TE24

If a QB hits 35 passing TDs, that’s usually a top-5 finish in fantasy. Our projections say one thing. Jake Trowbridge takes a look at who could hit that mark. |
Nothing like riding shotgun on a draft to see how certain strategies work. Coach Gene Clemons tries a heavy-WR start to his draft. See how he finished. |
OK, so even though Ian implores everyone to kick out kickers from their leagues. For those of you who didn’t listen, Matthew Freedman shares his early rankings. Hint: he’s done OK at this kicker thing. |

😔 Not the description you want to hear for Khalil Shakir’s sprained ankle.
🚨 No need to overreact. It’s just a one-handed catch by DK Metcalf art.
