Two Truths And A Lie In Green Bay
Kraft Your Own Opinion
Before we can craft our own opinions on the slew of contradictory Tucker Kraft updates hitting the news cycle this week, we need to lay out the facts:
Kraft has turned 8 catches into 140 yards and 2 TDs through the first two weeks of the season.
The Packers (+650) have recently surpassed the Eagles (+700) in odds to become 2026 Super Bowl champions.
Kraft has scored more TDs this season than Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, Nico Collins, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Puka Nacua.
Oof. That last one stings.
It's been an extremely fun start for Kraft managers so far. But on Thursday, news broke that Kraft had suffered a knee injury during practice.
A quick Google search of "Why?! Why would the fantasy gods let this happen!!" "Tucker Kraft injured?" will result in headlines that cover the entire spectrum of panicked buzzwords.
Some sources assure that Kraft is very much "all good." Others report that he suffered a "little scare" where he "tweaked" his knee in practice. Most recently, HC Matt LaFleur stated that he doesn't think it will be a long-term injury for Kraft.
But LaFleur also reported that he "doesn't think" Kraft will need to go on IR. Which is fine, I guess. But he didn't say, "NO WAY!" And it would've been a lot cooler if he did …
At this point, it feels like we're playing "Two Truths and a Lie" with LaFleur.
What we do know is that Kraft did not practice on Friday. And the All-Good-Little-Scare TE's game-time status for this Sunday is still to be determined. So, say what you want, LaFleur. But that doesn't sound "all good" to me.
If you roster Green Bay’s breakout TE, you need to secure yourself a backup plan at the position. Luckily, the Packers kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, making the waiting game less ominous than Brock Bowers' injury saga that lasted through Monday night in Week 2.

WR/CB Matchups: Rome Ready to Burn The Cowboys
It just might be happening for Rome Odunze, along with all those fantasy analysts and managers who tapped the Chicago WR as a breakout candidate in 2025. For everything that is scuffling for the 0-2 Bears, Odunze being the WR4 after two weeks is definitely not one of them. Now the Cowboys come to Soldier Field in Week 3, and their 31st-ranked defense against WRs may not be able to contain Rome burning them repeatedly (OK, we’ll land the next pun).
Chris Allen broke down several great Week 3 WR/CB matchups, and also made a surprising recommendation on a player to leave on the bench for this week. ⤵️

Week 3 Cheat Sheet: A Hard and Last Look at the Ranks
Kenneth Walker III may be walking into a perfect storm for fantasy managers. Every time he’s sat out in the past, fantasy experts push Zach Charbonnet up the rankings. This week, it could be the reverse, as Charbonnet has missed the entire week of practice. Could Walker move up in our rankings?
Leading up to Sunday, Chris Allen pored over the matchups and rankings to see if anyone should be pushed up or down. He even takes a look at a couple games that might have weather issues. But it’s September! Yes, even then the weather could factor in. Read on for this cheat sheet of rankings goodness. ⤵️
