Two Players Carrying The Load
Will you draft them in 2026?
I've always been a fan of Greek mythology, but I fear Miami and Minnesota are entering a Sisyphean era in 2026.
Remember Sisyphus?
He was the guy condemned to pushing the massive boulder up the hill … for eternity. And that unreachable summit feels eerily similar to the year that lies ahead for De'Von Achane and Justin Jefferson.
Just think about it: Achane and Jefferson are going to be repeatedly condemned to carrying the weight of their entire franchises each week as their teams ride their coattails toward fantasy relevance.
But despite their best efforts, they won't be able to bear the weight alone. The boulder will roll back to the bottom before the playoffs, and our fantasy kings will be forced to reluctantly begin their ascent again in 2027.
You can even see these Sisyphean outliers in the rankings.
Vikings 2026 Consensus Rankings
Justin Jefferson (Ovr Rank 9)
[gap]
Aaron Jones (Ovr Rank 103)
Jordan Addison (Ovr Rank 105)
Jordan Mason (Ovr Rank 108)
Kyler Murray (Ovr Rank 115)
Dolphins 2026 Consensus Rankings
De'Von Achane (Ovr Rank 15)
[gap]
Malik Willis (Ovr Rank 125)
Chris Bell (Ovr Rank 170)
Greg Dulcich (Ovr Rank 225)
Malik Washington (Ovr Rank 226)
YIKES. It's a long road (hill?) ahead for both teams.
If you miss out on Achane or Jefferson in your drafts, it's possible you won't roster a single Dolphin or Viking in 2026.
And that would probably be just fine.
I just hope these offenses can find a way to outperform their rankings. Otherwise, we may be in for a tough watch.

😬 Jeremiyah Love is expected to smash, but what if he doesn’t?
🐮 This RB shared the load last season. Now he may knuckle down on a bell cow role.
📈 Some of these TE2s could wind up as late-round league winners in 2026.
👑 High praise for a Year 2 WR. Comp to a Triple Crown winner.
The Biggest Outliers In Our 2026 Rankings
Speaking of outliers …
Consensus rankings are great in a pinch, but I like to see where our expert rankers disagree. I'm not trying to cause drama in the Fantasy Life work chat or anything … I just think the disagreements are where the real fun begins!
And this season, a few players are causing a rift between the rankers.
Drake London
De'Von Achane
Trey McBride
Josh Downs
Rome Odunze
Breece Hall
Dwain, Ian, Feedman and Kendall aren't seeing eye to eye on some of our fantasy favorites. Do you lean toward consensus?
Or are you on their side?
Is Davante Adams Worth The Risk In 2026?
I've always worked best under pressure. It's why I love being on the clock!
But when the timer hits 59s, there are six factors to consider before clicking "draft":
Data (metrics)
Drama (injury news, off-the-field issues, etc.)
Depth Charts (The NFL's and my own)
Draft Strategy (My leaguemates’ and my own)
Do Not Draft lists
Discounts in ADP (Rank vs ADP)
The bad news? You only have so much time available. You can't possibly review each of these in depth while on the clock.
The good news is: Fantasy Life has already done the work for you …
Roaring To Go Back In Time
2024 was such a fun time to roster Bengals in fantasy. Joe Burrow was pushing 5K yards. Ja’Marr Chase won a Triple Crown. The defense made sure that Burrow and company had to keep the pedal down every week. Ian and Dwain preview the Bengals to see if they can go back to partying like it’s 2024.
