Trust Or Bust This Post-Hype WR?
2026 will be different ...
A normal, well-adjusted individual is likely spending the day before the 4th of July picking up supplies and libations for a cookout. Or maybe packing the car for a trip to the beach.
But we are not normal around here, and instead we are thinking about Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed.
Everyone was thrilled when he got his change of scenery at the trade deadline last year, but the grass did not end up being greener on the other side.
Despite Seattle giving up its fourth- and fifth-round picks in the 2026 draft to acquire Shaheed, he was relegated to a special teams role for the Seahawks’ Super Bowl run.
Utilization Score on the Saints Weeks 1-8: 63
Utilization Score on the Seahawks rest of the year: 42
He was a luxury add and the team confirmed it by essentially saying, "If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”
But now the Seahawks have had a full offseason to integrate him into the offense and the chatter sounds positive. He’s been earning glowing reviews from the beats and Jeremy Fowler reported he won’t be pigeonholed into a field-stretcher role this year.
With two competing narratives, he’s a very tricky eval. Our consensus rankings have him as the WR62, but he’s the WR57 on Underdog. He’s significantly cheaper in managed leagues (ESPN ADP: 161.8), so this might be a spot to be site specific with your stands.
I’m generally skeptical of teams changing their MO after tipping their hand, but the combo of Shaheed’s track record as a No. 2 WR on the Saints (64-848-5 receiving, 107 targets in 15 games since 2024) along with this 2026 buzz have me wanting to buy into a flop lag breakout for cooterdoodle’s favorite player.

UR Breakdown: A Look At The Game Logs
Season stats are great. We love to look at how all the players stack up next to one another at their positions and overall, showing off who was the top dog once and for all. If only we could play this weekly game based on how players did over the course of the previous season. Sometimes it pays off to go inside the numbers to see if you could find some trend that gives you a nugget or two that could help out in your upcoming drafts.
Adam Pfeifer went underneath the hood of the weekly game log of our famous Utilization Report to find some incredibly helpful information that must be kept in mind when a few players are potentially getting drafted.
Don’t Leave Your IDP Draft Without Your Guys
Admit it, we all play favorites. Maybe not in regular life, but in fantasy football, it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t have at least one player they don’t want to leave the draft without. Maybe it’s not Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs at the top of the draft, but it could be Jayden Daniels in Round 6 who we just can’t pass up. It’s the same in IDP.
Mike Woellert reveals his GUYS whom he’s targeting in IDP drafts. He also reveals a little about his fandom, though he swears it doesn’t impact the players he’s recommending. Right. There definitely are some up-and-coming as well as bona fide stud defenders in here. If you can litter your roster with even a few of these players, consider it a job well done. And the Will Ferrell movie reference in here were a bonus. ⤵️
Is DJ Moore Getting Top Billing In Buffalo?
What if we told you that the No. 4 scoring offense with the 2024 NFL MVP (Josh Allen) has added probably the most talented WR since Stefon Diggs walked out the door? How quickly would you pick up DJ Moore in your drafts? Dwain and Ian break down one of the most fun offenses for fantasy, the Buffalo Bills.
