You know we've entered a slow NFL news cycle when the big story of the day is Najee Harris' weight.

After a report surfaced that Harris had bulked up to 244 pounds from 232 as a rookie, Najee took to Twitter to set the record straight:

Regardless of how he got there, Harris is looking beefy at OTAs. Last year AJ Dillon dominated the "low key thicc" conversation, but it sounds like a new challenger is emerging for 2022...

The season is fast-approaching, which means it is time for us to get to know all of these NFL teams and who we should be drafting and fading after a busy offseason. In today's team preview, Sam Wallace takes a look at the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys finished 2021 with a 12-5 record, easily topping the NFC East. The 12 wins were the most since 2016 and they ended a two-year playoff drought. However, they lost to the 49ers in the Wild Card matchup.

The Cowboys head into 2022 as the division favorites (10.5 projected wins per VegasInsider). The most notable offseason change was the departure of a star-wide receiver in Amari Cooper.

• Trading of WR Amari Cooper to the Browns. Over the last three seasons, Cooper averaged 14.6 fantasy points, 7.5 targets, and 67 receiving yards/game.

• The departure of WR Cedrick Wilson to the Dolphins.

• WR Michael Gallup continues to recover from an ACL injury.

• Drafting of WR Jalen Tolbert out of South Alabama (3rd Round)

✨ Team vibes

They have incredible talent at every offensive position and are returning their HC, OC, and DC. That continuity should benefit Dak Prescott.

This needs to be the year that WR CeeDee Lamb takes a step towards being elite. TE Dalton Schultz broke out last season and is on the cusp of joining the exclusive tier of tight ends.

QB evaluation is extremely hard. It doesn't matter if you are an NFL front office or a fantasy player, everyone routinely whiffs on predicting which QBs are going to be good in the NFL.

Some of the best QBs in fantasy right now were either completely overlooked by the NFL (Russell Wilson) or by fantasy gamers (Josh Allen, Justin Herbert) when they first entered the league.

That brings me to Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett, who has earned the unfortunate designation of "Best QB In A Bad QB Class." But I'm not here to poke holes, I'm here to chug from the Pickett Kool-Aid, which is extremely refreshing during hot best ball summer, by the way. Pickett has multiple things going for him right now as a fantasy asset:

* He should start right out of the gate. I know there are rumblings that Mitch Trubisky is going to be the Week 1 starter, but that feels more like lip service to the veteran. We are in a new era where rookies drafted in the first round are expected to play early and often.* He's surrounded by weapons. With the addition of George Pickens, the Steelers now have one of the better pass catching rooms in the league. Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool are big time playmakers and Pat Freiermuth is a prime candidate to reach the elite TE echelon.* He's cheap. Pickett is going virtually undrafted (ADP 211.6) in Underdog drafts right now and he is extremely easy to stack with the Steelers WRs.

There's a chance Pickett might not be good, but that's the case for literally every new QB who enters the league, including 1.01 picks like Trevor Lawrence. But it costs nothing to find out and the peripherals are there for a good season if he's even a moderate upgrade on Big Ben.
