Last Chance To Make This Move
Do it before TNF...
The Miami Dolphins gave us a few usable fantasy performances last week (s/o De’Von Achane’s elite usage), but the real-life team is on the verge of collapse.
They are technically 0-2 right now, but considering their date in Buffalo tonight as 12-point underdogs, we might as well call it 0-3.
If the oddsmakers are correct and the Bills smash them on TNF, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this whole thing get blown up.
Mike McDaniel is sitting on the hottest seat in the NFL right now and the Tyreek Hill saga is close to reaching a fever pitch.
I doubt any of your leaguemates are gullible enough to buy the ticking time bomb that is Tyreek Hill right now (maybe you can sell them on the Chiefs as a destination?), but one thing you can certainly do is stash Malik Washington.
Similar to Elic Ayomanor after Week 1, Washington’s upside is mostly flying underneath the radar because his Week 2 performance didn’t fully pop in the box score.
He only had three catches for 23 yards, but he also 1) returned a punt for a TD, 2) got 3 carries, and 3) had 2 receptions called back due to offensive penalties.
That big-play ability and versatility, when paired with the massive contingent value relative to Hill, make him one of the most interesting names in fantasy right now.
Make the move before kickoff and then get your popcorn ready.

Fantasy By The Numbers
Fantasy is a game of numbers (and frustration, tears, joy, bitter endings of friendships over trade vetoes — but mostly numbers!), so we pulled some fun ones for you to enjoy!
From the Book of Dwain: Kraft boasts the No. 6 Utilization Score (82) through two games. He leads the Packers in route participation at 81% and target share with 21%. Read all about it in the latest Utilization Report. |
That’s how it works, right? There are a CRAPTON of Utilization stats here for those wanting to go deeper on players. |

Rankings Risers and Fallers: Welcome To Jerryworld
If you come away with one thing after reading Dwain McFarland’s Week 3 Rankings Risers and Fallers, it’s likely going to be just how good a spot the Cowboys are in this week … isn’t that right, producer/devout Bears fan Matt Swing?
Unnecessary Bears stray aside, it’s hard not to blanket upgrade everyone on the team. Dwain hit on which Cowboys are getting the biggest upgrades below:
Dak Prescott | Cowboys: I like Prescott this weekend—he is my QB11 thanks to a matchup against the worst QB defense so far in the Bears. Chicago has blessed opposing passers with a 7.4-point boost per game. Last weekend, Jared Goff ripped them with five TD passes. Our other rankers LOVE Prescott this weekend and have him as the QB4. That is a tad rich for me on a player averaging 15 points per game in an offense very willing to run from in close. Almost 100% of Prescott's upside is tied to his passing upside in a game without a high total, but the matchup is certainly there for the taking. That is the weirdest upgrade I have ever written, but yeah, it is still an UPGRADE to QB10 for Dak. Prescott carries the No. 18 Xfinity Best projection (26.1).
Javonte Williams | Cowboys: Williams is the RB3 in fantasy football, averaging 22.7 points. The Cowboys are a high-scoring offense with a defense that can't stop anyone. In addition to that, they love to pound the rock in the red zone. They ran the ball 48% of the time in the red zone in 2024 and have opted for the run 60% of the time in 2025. The Bears have supplied the No. 1 boost to opposing RBs in 2025 at 8.8 points per game. When you add all of that up, you get a recipe for a SMASH PLAY—Williams is my RB14.
George Pickens | Cowboys: Pickens is averaging a league-leading 2.5 endzone targets per game. So far, he has only come down with one of those, but he is due for a multi-TD game given the intent behind his early-season Utilization. The Bears' defense has been extremely pass-catcher friendly to this point, granting an 11.4-point boost in receiving fantasy points. Pickens is a high-end WR3 with WR1-boom potential.

Predicting Week 3: 200+ Yards and 2+ TDs On Tap
Jonathan Taylor is the No. 8 RB in Utilization Score (87, per our Fantasy Life Utilization Report), which is nothing special—but that's primarily because he has lost significant goal-line work to TD-vulturing QB Daniel Jones.
But in terms of raw usage, what we've seen out of Taylor this year has been elite. On a per-game basis, he's the No. 1 RB in snaps (56.5) and rush attempts (21.5) and No. 8 RB in routes (25.5).
Last week, he was literally the only Colts RB to get a touch.
With that kind of dominant usage, it's not a surprise that Taylor has an NFL-high 313 scrimmage yards (236 rushing, 77 receiving).
As 3.5-point road favorites, the Colts will likely continue to lean on the ground game, and they're No. 3 in the league with a 52.5% rush rate.
With 20+ opportunities in both games this year, Taylor should once again be featured heavily by the Colts—and I love his matchup.
The Titans could be without run-stuffing NT T'Vondre Sweat (ankle), and they've been terrible against the run this year, respectively ranking Nos. 31 & 32 in defensive rush DVOA (22.5%) and EPA (0.155).
Last year in two matchups with DC Dennard Wilson's unit, Taylor had 29-218-3 rushing.
Given what we've seen out of Taylor, the Colts, and the Titans this year, there's a chance he could hit those marks in Week 3.
Bold Prediction: Taylor has 200+ yards and 2+ TDs from scrimmage

The Falcons Are An Elite Week 3 DST Streamer
The Falcons defense is barely rostered in any leagues, but that is going to change this week as they come off a dominant performance on the road in Minnesota. The Atlanta DST scored 21 fantasy points on Sunday Night Football, recording six sacks and forcing four turnovers. Their pass rush appears to be much improved, and they are currently the best defense in the NFL in terms of EPA per play.
In Week 3, the Falcons get to face Bryce Young and the Panthers. Atlanta is favored by 5.5 points despite being on the road. Carolina has made a habit of falling behind early and then throwing a bunch to try to catch up, which is the perfect game script for a fantasy defense. Young doesn't exactly take care of the ball either. Through two games, Young has five turnovers and has taken four sacks. Those numbers don't appear to be flukey either, as PFF has credited Young with five turnover-worthy plays so far this season, tied for third most among QBs.
This looks like one of those games where the Panthers may end up recording decent offensive totals and score a few TDs, but those are likely to come with a few sacks/turnovers mixed in. If you need to stream a defense, Atlanta is available in nearly every league and offers significant upside in this matchup.
Atlanta does also play the Commanders in Week 4, which could be another plus matchup if Jayden Daniels misses multiple weeks with his injury, although at the time of writing, that seems unlikely.
