I Got A Sleeper For Ya

An Eagles RB not named Saquon...

Over the weekend, our guy Nando told all the hepcats to get off his lawn and stop screaming about Jayden Higgins. He’s sick of it!

And you know what? That’s fair.

But I’m not here to complain about overly buzzy rookie WRs (if I were, it’d be Jack Bech), I’m here to give you a true sleeper.

He goes in the 17th round of current drafts.

Oh, and did I mention he’s a Super Bowl champion?

A True 2025 RB Sleeper

I’m talking about Eagles backup RB Will Shipley.

Yes, I’m aware that Saquon Barkley is still on the roster, but in fantasy football, we always want to be intimately familiar with the guy behind the guy.

For years, that guy in Philly was Kenneth Gainwell, but he moved on to decidedly greener browner pastures across the state.

That leaves Shipley, whom the Eagles drafted in the 4th round of the 2024 draft, as the next man up for the Eagles.

Local beats have already confirmed that not only is he the clear RB2 in Philly, but that he can be an upgrade over Gainwell in that role.

The Eagles saddled Barkley with 381 total touches last year. He’s an iron man for sure, but the NFL game is brutal, and seasons are long.

The most likely thing is another RB1 campaign from Barkley, but in the event of an absence, Shipley would be positioned as a league winner behind one of the best offensive lines in football.

Don’t tell anyone, though. Let’s keep this one to ourselves.

RB Rookie Super Model Refresh—Jeanty Is In Rare Air

The only thing better than Dwain McFarland’s Rookie Super Model coming out fresh in March is giving it a refresh after the NFL Draft. Now that we know the landing spots, we can look ahead to how Ashton Jeanty will perform as a bell cow back in Las Vegas, as well as others from this well-regarded class.

There are even players who jumped up the rankings after their landing spot made them look even more enticing for fantasy football. When you get in those rookie draft streets, or even want to get a good idea for best ball and even redraft later, this is a must read.⬇️
