Grand Opening in Buffalo

Sorry if you're facing Josh Allen ...

The Buffalo Bills did their best impression of the Chicago Bears last night, scoring 27 points before the half. And it was HOT.

  • Q1: 85-yard drive resulting in a Josh “Daddy” Allen rushing TD

  • Q1: Josh Palmer 43-yard TD

  • Q2: Dawson Knox 1-yard TD

No, I haven’t mentioned any players from Detroit yet.

No, that’s not a mistake.

  • Q2: Jahmyr Gibbs 11-yard TD

  • Q2: Dalton Kincaid 16-yard TD

The good news: This 2026 Bills’ offense makes scoring look easy. Like, really easy

The bad news: James Cook managers watched in horror as literally everyone else in a Bills jersey got a shot at scoring when Buffalo was in the red zone during the first 30 minutes of the game. “The Colston Loveland treatment,” as I call it. Don’t worry, Cook got his chance before the final whistle.

All told, both teams kept scoring, all the way to a 41-31 Bills victory to christen Highmark Stadium. Allen already is paying off those who drafted him early, passing for 248 yards and 3 TDs, adding 2 more scores on 69 rushing yards. Cook went for 21-135-2, while Kincaid finished with 7 catches for 95 yards and that score.

And we love the Lions for not giving up, as Jared Goff had a quiet 327 passing yards and 4 TDs, with 2 scores going to Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Sun God caught 9 balls for 142 yards. And let’s not forget Mr. 1.01 Jahmyr Gibbs ending the night with 113 total yards and a score. Nice when you start your studs and you get rewarded.

I need a cigarette.

Injury Note: Before halftime, DJ Moore stayed down on the field with a shoulder injury after taking a hit in the end zone. He was ruled out shortly after halftime. Keep an eye on this one if you roster Moore. Though, if he does miss time, I suspect Josh Allen & Co. will find a way to keep winning.

How About Some Peace Of Mind?

There’s a peace of mind that comes with knowing you have certain players on your fantasy roster. That Joe Burrow-Ja’Marr Chase stack is just so sweet. See Bijan Robinson in that RB1 slot, you can just write him down for 100+ scrimmage yards and a couple TDs. And Trey McBride, just chalk him up for 10+ targets and elite WR numbers out of the TE slot.

Peace of mind is also important when it comes to your home, family and connected life. Introducing Xfinity Shield, a defensive line for your home and devices. Users can opt-in to built-in WiFi protection features such as:

  • Who knew this RB would ever see a 24% target share?

  • This RB got a 99, not Luftballons, but Utilization Score (‘80s pun intended)

  • Time to worry about this TE coming off a great rookie year?
