Don’t Set Your Week 4 Lineup Without THIS

PLUS: Matthew Berry's Week 4 Rankings...

Before we get to the meat of the slate, make sure your lineup is all set for this Colts/Commanders game that kicks off at 9:30 AM ET in London.

Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is unlikely to play, while Rachaad White and Keenan Allen (groin) have already been ruled out. Get ‘em out of your lineup ASAP.

As for the rest of the games, the status of the star WRs is defining the slate. Here’s the latest …

Justin Jefferson & DeVonta Smith are OUT.

Jefferson (ankle) and Smith (hamstring) are both out today. I’m optimistic the Vikings can still have success against this Dolphins squad. Check where we have Kyler Murray, Aaron Jones, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson in the ranks. All of them are strong starts. Jones’ role without Jordan Mason has been incredible—81% snap share, 83% attempt share, and a 14% target share.

The outlook for the Eagles is not nearly as good, but I don’t mind starting Dontayvion Wicks, who should see a decent target uptick today.

Mike Evans (ribs) is a game-time decision.

Evans didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday with a strained rib, but my gut says he plays. Still, this is a late game (4:25 PM ET), so make sure you have a backup plan ready if you wait on him. Our projections can give you some ideas.

Nico Collins & Puka Nacua* are back

Both Nico and Puka will play today—and you are starting both no matter what—but it is worth mentioning that there’s chatter that Nacua could be on a bit of a snap count.

Still, as we saw with Brock Bowers last week, you have to trust the superstars when they are active even if it feels uncomfortable.

Ladd McConkey & Zay Flowers are questionable

Ladd missed practice Thursday with a foot injury, but returned Friday for a limited practice. This is in addition to the cracked ribs he dealt with earlier. Like Evans, this game is late (4:25 PM ET), so you’ll need to pay close attention. Making matters worse? Matthew hates his QB this week.

The Flowers stuff is weird. He practiced in full on Thursday, but took a step back on Friday and is now listed as questionable. There were some rumblings that this was just for “rest”, so I’m more confident with him than I am with Ladd. If you are on the fence, please read Fact No. 8 from Matthew.

Buy Jahmyr Gibbs, The Future Is Bright

What a runway for Jahmyr Gibbs to continue an incredible runout to his NFL career. In his first three seasons, his total yards never dipped below 1,261, and twice he’s gone over 1,800 yards. In the last two years, he’s combined for 38 TDs. Oh yeah, he just turned 24. The time for forward-thinking fantasy managers to buy in on Gibbs was right after he was selected 12th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Now he’s vying to be taken as the 1.01 in drafts ahead of this upcoming season. With David Montgomery no longer in Detroit, there is no more sharing the spotlight (or touches) for Gibbs. And savvy managers who invested in him are all smiles.

UNest works the same way. You don't wait until your kid is 16 to start building their financial future. You start now, when time is your single greatest advantage. A tax-advantaged investment account that grows with your child, set up in under 10 minutes. The long game is always the smartest play, on the field and off it.
