Day 2 Is In The Books
How many pass catchers got drafted?
The 49ers started off Day 2 of the NFL Draft with a big surprise, and by pick 100 there were several players selected who will impact fantasy football rosters in a few months. To be more specific, 11 wide receivers and SEVEN tight ends were drafted last night. Just one RB—Indiana’s Kaelon Black—was selected, which means today we’ll be keeping an eye on who might be late-round RBs landing in spots where they could be contributors at some point this season.
Here are some of the players selected to keep an eye on:
2.33 - De’Zhaun Stribling (WR, SF): What a way to lead off Friday night. Stribling goes into Kyle Shanahan’s pass-friendly offense, but he has some competition. More on Stribling’s fantasy football fit on the 49ers.
2.39 - Denzel Boston (WR, CLE): Joining KC Concepcion in the Browns’ rookie class, Boston is a contested-catch artist who is going to be a big target for whomever is behind center in Cleveland. More on Boston’s fantasy football fit on the Browns.
2.47 - Germie Bernard (WR, PIT): Bernard helps fill out the WR room in Pittsburgh, as he’ll slot in behind DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. for targets. Even TEs Darnell Washington and Pat Freiermuth will also give him competition. More on Bernard’s fantasy football fit on the Steelers.
2.54 - Eli Stowers (TE, PHI) Another TE in Philly? Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra are on one-year deals, so Stowers may have to wait. More on Stowers’ fantasy football fit on the Eagles.
3.65 - Carson Beck (QB, AZ): After Jacoby Brissett’s hot finish last season, he’s looking like the incumbent QB in Arizona. Though is the seasoned Beck looking like a future play in the desert? More on Beck’s fantasy football fit on the Cardinals.
3.71 - Antonio Williams (WR, WAS): Jayden Daniels needs another target besides Terry McLaurin, and Williams could be that player in the slot. If he can stay on the field. More on Williams’ fantasy football fit on the Commanders.
3.83 - Chris Brazzell (WR, CAR): Can Brazzell be the sidekick for Tetairoa McMillan to take the Panthers to another level? Or was his production at Tennessee not something that will translate to the NFL? More on Brazzell’s fantasy football fit on the Panthers.
3.94 - Chris Bell (WR, MIA): Bell was a player who was getting talked about in “what if?” terms because of his late-season torn ACL. He’s rehabbing, but going to a Dolphins team in rehab mode that can patiently wait for him to get to full speed. More on Bell’s fantasy football fit on the Dolphins.
But wait, there are many more. Many more.

Dwain’s Rankings For The Round 1 Rookies
With a ton of landing spots revealed, it's time to dive into fantasy football rookie rankings for 2026, starting with the Round 1 rookies. A major component of how I rank players comes from the Rookie Super Model, a data-driven approach that has historically predicted future NFL success better than the draft pick alone.
You can find the full Rookie Super Model write-ups for each position here:
Now, let's dive into the rankings.
1. Jeremiyah Love | RB1 | Cardinals
Rookie Super Model Rating: 91.8 (5th All-Time)
NFL Draft Pick: 3
2026 Outlook: Mid-Range RB2 with RB1 Upside
Multi-Year Outlook: High-End RB1
Love is an electric playmaker with the size-speed combo that NFL talent evaluators drool over. While his Production Rating (75) is lower than that of historical top-10 NFL Draft picks, sharing the backfield with Jadarian Price, Love's underlying data profiles similarly.
As the No. 3 pick in the draft, Love's rookie deal includes a rookie RB record-setting $50.5 million in guaranteed money. His average annual salary ranks seventh among NFL backs.
Since 2015, most top-10 RBs have received a significant workload in their first year (excludes games missed):
Ashton Jeanty: 78%
Saquon Barkley: 76%
Ezekiel Elliott: 75%
Leonard Fournette: 71%
Todd Gurley: 66% (coming off ACL)
Bijan Robinson: 45%
Christian McCaffrey: 26% (23% targets)
In an interesting twist, Love finds himself in a backfield with Tyler Allgeier, who subdued Robinson's rush share as a rookie. Allgeier signed a two-year, $12.3M contract with Arizona with $8M guaranteed. From a cap percentage perspective, that isn't a huge number at 1.3% in 2026 per Over The Cap.
In our fantasy football projections model, I am giving some respect to Allgeier, but still leaning into historical top-10 pick trends, giving Love 63% of the rushing attempts. In an offense with a lot of questions, the touchdown upside could be limited. Especially if Allgeier usurps attempts inside the five-yard line. When you add it all up, Love projects as a mid-range RB2 with RB1 upside in my early 2026 projections.
Bottom Line: Love is a near lock for eventual top-6 RB stardom. He should be the consensus No. 1 pick in rookie drafts—even Superflex. For 2026, he is a mid-range RB2 with RB1 upside should he get a larger role and the Cardinals surprise on offense.
Best Remaining Players For Day 3
We're onto Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft and big names still remain available, most notably Jermod McCoy, who was originally slated as the No. 1 overall safety in the class. Where he'll land remains to be seen, but he sits atop our NFL Draft Big Board and should hear his name called earlier rather than later this afternoon.
See below for the best players available as we head into Rounds 4 through 7 of the draft, with the ranking being how they are ordered on Freedman's big board.

👀 Maybe Jadarian Price wasn’t really a first-round pick. But look at the opportunity.
☝️ Can you say 1A and 1B? The Saints have a power duo at WR.
🙌 The Browns loaded up on pass catchers. He’s open! Yikes!
🐻 The Bears drafted ANOTHER tight end. Really?
