Burning Questions

Who will break their losing streak first?

Is Isaac TeSlaa's Reception-to-TD Ratio Sustainable?

With Amon-Ra St. Brown's early exit in Thursday's game due to an ankle injury, Jameson Williams and Isaac TeSlaa had to step up and fill his WR1 shoes.

But rest assured, TeSlaa's 2-35-1 outing is par for the course. Across the five games where he's logged a reception this season, he's amassed a total of 6 receptions for 3 TDs.

Let me repeat that: When Isaac TeSlaa catches a football, 50% of the time it's in the end zone.

  • Week 1: 1-13-1

  • Week 2: 1-29-0

  • Week 5: 1-12-1

  • Week 10: 1-11-0

  • Week 13: 2-35-1

Sure, Williams will be the main mouth to feed in Detroit next week against a porous Cowboys defense … But all TeSlaa needs is ONE F*CKING CATCH.

Which GB Packer Scores Double TDs in Week 14?

The Packers SB rumors are back, baby! Not only are they 8-3, but they are on a three-game winning streak that comes with a bajillion (give or take a few) TDs.

  • Week 11: Christian Watson 4-46-2

  • Week 12: Emanuel Wilson 28-107-2

  • Week 13: Dontayvion Wicks 6-94-2

The Packers square up against the Bears next, who are allowing the third most TDs per game to WRs. So … Romeo Doubs? Six catches for 70 yards and 2 TDs in Week 14? Whatdya say?

Who Pulls Off the Longest Losing Streak?

The real answer: Your leaguemate who hasn't used waivers since September.

But for NFL purposes, there are four teams eyeing a disastrous regular-season finale:

  • Titans (1-10) L6

  • Raiders (2-9) L5

  • Giants (2-10) L6

  • Commanders (3-8) L6

My vote for longest losing streak: Not the Giants. Not only does Jaxson Dart return in Week 13, but their upcoming schedule is … Very, very kind.

  • Week 14: Bye

  • Week 15: Commanders

  • Week 17: Raiders

Week 13 WR/CB Matchups: Waddle-ing all over the Saints

Since Jaylen Waddle took over WR1 duties in Miami after the Week 5 injury to Tyreek Hill, the Alabama product has at least 6 targets per game all but once. Chris Allen also points out how much the added volume has translated into production and fantasy points:

Of course, our main focus should be the first five columns. Since Waddle’s ‘promotion,’ he ranks 18th among all WRs in target share. There hasn’t been a game where he hasn’t led the Dolphins’ pass catchers in air yards. However, for Week 13, how often Tua Tagovailoa looks for him on play-action caught my eye. Because when I started digging into the Saints’ defense, the data suggests that they’ve been susceptible to progressive play calling in the past.”

Chris goes into more detail on why Waddle is a great play against the Saints this week. He also drops plenty of knowledge on some of the best WR/CB matchups—and one to be wary of—for Week 13. ⤵️

Chris Rodriguez and More Late-Week Streamers

Much as we wanted the Bill phenomenon to become a thing in DC, it’s Chris Rodriguez who is emerging as the RB to roster for the foreseeable future as the Commanders are getting healthy. This week, Jonathan Fuller recommends Rodriguez even though he’s facing one of the best defenses in the NFL:

The matchup in Week 13 is tough with the Commanders taking on the Broncos, but Rodriguez should see double-digit carries and handle the goal-line work, which makes him startable if you have a hole at your RB2 spot. More importantly, his outlook for the rest of the season is solid as Washington is likely to continue to lean on the running game and has more favorable matchups against the Vikings (Week 14), Giants (Week 15) and Cowboys (Week 17) still remaining on the schedule.”

Jonathan offers up more players who are still available in over 50% of leagues, including another RB who is looking at an increased workload starting this week. ⤵️
