- Are You Good To Go Or What, Bro?
We are officially less than a week away from the 2025 NFL season, which means it is time to set our sights on Week 1.
In a perfect world, all of our players would be fully healthy heading into the season, but that is unfortunately not the case.
Here are a handful of guys who I’m genuinely confused about whether they will be a full go or not for our squads next week …
🤷 Jayden Reed—This situation is really weird. It was revealed that Reed has a Jones fracture and yet he is now out of the boot and returned to practice. Week 1 is still uncertain, so I’m really not sure where this leaves us. On the surface it seems like good news that he’s practicing, but this is clearly a volatile situation with an extremely high risk of reaggravation. Here’s a deeper dive on it, but regardless, load up on Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft if you have drafts this weekend.
🤷 Jauan Jennings—Another weird one. When I first heard Jennings conveniently had a calf injury that coincided with his new contract request, I thought it was along the lines of Ferris Bueller having a cold. GM John Lynch, however, said the team is “hopeful but not sure on Week 1” for his availability. Ultimately, I think this is way more about the contract than the injury, so I’m not scared to buy at a discount because I think it gets sorted in the next week.
🤷 Najee Harris—It’s hard to believe that this saga started back on July 4th, but here we are still wondering if Harris will play Week 1. He has returned to practice, but John Harbaugh said it is only a “possibility” that he’d be ready for their Friday night game vs. the Chiefs. Matthew’s Ride or Die—Omarion Hampton—remains an awesome selection across all formats.

The 2025 All-Upside Players
“If you ain’t first, you’re last.” If Reese Bobby knew one thing, he knew the mentality it took to win. And we aren’t talking about racing.
Sure, you could play it safe, draft for floor with some marginal upside, and comfortably find yourself in the No. 4 seed a few games above .500 in your league this year. Maybe you make it to the championship, but don’t have the game-breakers to put you over the top. Cool, you walked away in second place. Successful season, by some measures.
OR … you could go all-in. Aim for the league-winning upside and fully embrace the “all or nothing” notion. If things break right, you win it all. If they don’t, onto next year.
Freedman chose the latter. And in doing so, he put together the ultimate all-upside team for 2025, focusing on the high-upside, game-breaking players to target in each round of your draft. Ones that also have terrifying floors.
