Bijan vs. Gibbs at 1.01, Take A Side

The discussion will be spirited in the coming months. What do you do with the 1.01 pick in fantasy drafts? There are two players who are rising to the top of that discussion: Bijan Robinson vs. Jahmyr Gibbs. Choose your fighter! Seriously, who ya got? As Ian Hartitz might say when asked to pick one or the other … YES!

Adam Pfeifer dove over the pile on this question that hardly has a wrong answer. One of the arguments in favor of Robinson points toward the number of valuable touches that Tyler Allgeier took last year. Now with Allgeier having flown the coup to the Cardinals, it stands to reason that Bijan could get an even more valuable workload:

According to the Utilization Report, Robinson accounted for just 48% of Atlanta’s rush attempts from inside the 5-yard line. That put him outside the top-25 running backs and tied with Allgeier, who tied Robinson with five goal-line carries. Robinson also compiled only 32 red-zone carries, which trailed players like Chris Rodriguez, Kyle Monangai and Kareem Hunt. Again, Allgeier was right behind him with 31 red-zone rushes. Allgeier is a good player and was effective from in close, converting four of seven carries inside the 5-yard line into touchdowns. But his presence was often a headache for Robinson’s fantasy potential.

On the other hand, there is Gibbs getting more work with David Montgomery going to Houston. Adam makes compelling arguments on both sides. ⬇️

Kenyon Sadiq Roars To TE1 In 2026 NFL Draft Class

Are you still buzzing after the out-of-this-world NFL Scouting Combine performance by Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq? To say that he left behind combine stars at the position like Kyle Pitts and Vernon Davis is significant … and true! Now, some may point to Pitts’ struggles after surpassing 1,000 receiving yards as a rookie, though he did have a solid TE4 season in 2025 before being franchise tagged recently. And other rookie TE breakout seasons since from Sam LaPorta, Brock Bowers to Colston Loveland give rise to hope that if there is going to be a big rookie season from a TE, it’ll come from Sadiq.

Dwain McFarland has moved to the TEs with the Rookie Super Model, and while there is so much to like about Sadiq, there are just enough question marks that may make fantasy managers think twice before selecting him in rookie drafts. ⤵️
