A League-Winning RB Is Free In Drafts
Load up ...
The rookie RBs are going to define the 2025 fantasy season.
And I’m not just talking about Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton.
This was one of the best and deepest RB draft classes we’ve had in years, and now the camp buzz is reflecting that quality and depth.
Last week, we hit on three deep sleepers who now have an obvious path to fantasy relevance, and today I want to shine a star-shaped spotlight on the Cowboys RB we need to start taking very seriously in drafts.
Jaydon Blue, who Dallas selected in the fifth round of this draft, has been making waves at camp. Here’s what Jon Machota said the other day:
“Blue has been standing out more and more, to the point he’s been getting some first-team reps. When given the opportunity, he’s been taking care of the football, showcasing his speed, athleticism and quality hands. Each day that goes by, Blue appears to be getting more comfortable with the offense and speed of the NFL game.”
Last month, there was some concern about Blue after a second-hand report from a former Dallas radio host circulated about his “laziness,” but that now appears to be extremely off the mark.
Machota concedes that the veterans—Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders—are likely to get the bulk of the early-season carries, but this backfield is ripe for the taking. His ADP has not started to move off RB48 yet.
Doesn’t this feel like one of those situations that will seem so obvious in hindsight?
Oh wow, how crazy, the younger, more explosive back took over an ambiguous backfield and delivered late-season fantasy goodness in a high-powered offense!
You might have to hold onto Blue in managed leagues like Guillotine LeaguesTM until he takes over, but it sure seems like it is going to be worth the wait …
Draft season is here—and it’s time to GO HARD.
Mock drafts. Sleeper picks. Endless debates over who’s due for a breakout. If you're deep in rankings and trade calculators before Week 1 even kicks off, you're living that fantasy life the right way. You’re not easing into the season—you’re all in from the jump.
That’s the “Go Hard” mentality. And Mike’s Hard Lemonade is built for it.
Whether you're hosting your draft party, trash-talking your leaguemates, or just fine-tuning your roster from a beach chair, Mike’s is the drink that matches your energy. It’s bold, refreshing, and never halfway—just like you. So crack one open, take a victory sip for that sleeper you just nailed, and gear up for a GO HARD season. Nobody Makes Lemonade Like Mike’s.

More League-Winning RBs?
Well, not quite. But these RBs possess something that virtually every league-winning RB has: 10-touchdown upside.
To quote Matthew Freedman:
“TDs aren't the only thing that matters—but if your RBs score a lot of TDs, they'll also probably have a lot of yards and thus fantasy points.
Implication: If you have multiple RBs with 10+ TDs on your roster, you'll have an enhanced chance of winning your league.”
Freedman has 11 total running backs projected for at least 10 touchdowns for the 2025 season, which means 11 league-winning ceilings.
The best part? His running back projected for the most touchdowns looks like a bargain at his current ADP. 👀⤵️

Switching Gears To Wide Receiver …
You were treated to Ian’s tight end tiers last time we were here, and today, he’s following it up with his wide receiver tiers for 2025.
Let’s cut the fluff and dive right into all nine tiers:
Tier 1: THE WR1, y’all
Tier 2: Easily imaginable path to overall WR1 status
Tier 3: I don't have 99 problems, but I do have one
Tier 4: Look at them, they're old! (Or their QB situation isn't ideal)
Tier 5: Their offense's No. 1 WR … for what that's worth
Tier 6: Bob Ross could paint a picture of greatness
Tier 7: Could very well look dumb for not ranking higher
Tier 8: The last of us
Tier 9: We're saying there's a chance
Now that the most important part—the tier names—is out of the way … how many wideouts have easily imaginable paths to a WR1 overall finish? 🤔⤵️
