6 Undeniable Truths Right Now

Week 10 recap...

At this point in the season, there aren’t too many huge surprises*. It’s more about confirming things that we already know …

👑 Jonathan Taylor is king. Before the West Coast had even woken up, Taylor had already dropped 48.1 fantasy points in Berlin (including the game-winner in OT) and his fourth game this year with 3 TDs. I believe that’s what the Germans call a “guten tag.”

⏱️ Speed kills. De’Von Achane (37.5 points), Jahmyr Gibbs (36.7) and TreVeyon Henderson (27.5) all put up massive fantasy scores thanks to explosive rushes. Longest rushes in Week 10 (pending MNF): Taylor (83), Henderson (69), Achane (59), Gibbs (43). Let ‘em cook.

💪 Trey McBride with Jacoby Brissett is Gronk. Another Brissett start, another elite TE performance from McBride (9-127-1). The Cardinals got spanked, but at least that duo understood the mission.

👋 Jameson Williams needs the ball more. Apparently the Commanders defense is part of the government shutdown, because Jamo carved them up for 6-119-1. Hopefully there is more to come (his Utilization Score has been all over the place this year) with Dan Campbell taking over play-calling duties.

🏆️ Stafford & Maye are playing like MVPs. It’s no coincidence that they are No. 1 and No. 2 in current MVP odds right now as the Patriots moved to 8-2 and the Rams to 7-2. Stafford, in particular, has been lights-out of late.

😡 Tyler Allgeier is the Falcons’ goal-line back. I’m sorry, folks, don’t shoot the messenger. It is what it is.

*OK, I lied about there not being any big surprises because Davis Mills is currently leading all QBs in Week 10 scoring with 28.7 points, lol.

It’s kickoff time. Lineup’s set. Now GO HARD.

You’ve been grinding the waiver wire, dodging injury reports and swapping flex plays until the last second. This isn’t casual—it’s commitment. And when the games start, you’re all in. That’s what it means to GO HARD. Whether you’re watching every snap or refreshing your app with unhealthy frequency, Mike’s Hard Lemonade is the perfect sidekick for your Monday Night Miracle sweat. What We Learned From Every Week 10 Game …

There was a stretch in August where we didn’t know if Matthew Stafford would be ready for the start of the season due to a back injury. After 10 weeks, Stafford is in the Most Valuable Player conversation. Stafford is one of the few quarterbacks who contribute nothing on the ground, but has become an every-week start.

Stafford passed for 280 yards and 4 TDs to lead the Rams in a 42-26 win over the 49ers. The 37-year-old Stafford has thrown 4 TDs in three straight games. He has 20 TDs and no INTs over the last six games and 25 TDs and two INTs on the season. He is the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for four or more TDs and zero INTs in three consecutive games. The addition of Davante Adams as a red zone target has helped. Adams, who left the game with an oblique injury, scored his ninth TD of the season. Puka Nacua returned after missing a game with an injury and caught five passes for 64 yards with a TD.

Let's dive into who else joined the Rams and led the Sunday fantasy football slate in Week 10 ...

Looking Ahead to Week 11 with Kendall …

Say it with me everyone … WE'RE FOUR WEEKS AWAY FROM THE FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS!! What? Did you think I was going to give you the countdown to Christmas? It's time to lock in. The waiver wire means a little more every week!

This week, only two teams are on bye—the Colts and the Saints. And let me just say this: I, for one, am so grateful that I get a break from facing Jonathan Taylor, because I don't think I can take another three-touchdown outing from him (of course, sorry to all his managers who have to go somewhere else this week, lol).

All rostership percentages are from Yahoo, and, as always, I try to focus on highlighting players less than 40% rostered. Also, don't forget our Waiver Wire Tool, which will have even more targets on a weekly basis.

Tez Johnson, WR, Buccaneers (32% rostered)

A two-touchdown day makes everyone turn to pay attention to you, and that's exactly what we're doing here with Tez Johnson over in Tampa Bay. He locked down 4 receptions off 5 targets for 42 yards and found the end zone twice. Chris Godwin's return timeline sits somewhere between "late November" and "early December" per head coach Todd Bowles, but we should err on the side of caution and just assume he won't be back until December. Hopefully the Buccaneers can get Bucky Irving back, but until then Johnson has established himself and should be picked up. He has actually averaged 13.34 fantasy points in his last five games!

Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons (33% rostered)

I don't know what got into the Falcons and Tyler Allgeier over in Berlin, but wow, if you started him, you got a treat with 17.7 fantasy points. Allgeier carried the ball 11 times for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns, but the interesting part was that he had heavy usage in the red zone and at the goal line. If that sticks, then Allgeier will move heavily up the ranks going forward. This was Allgeier's first multi-touchdown performance since Week 1 of the 2023 season. I'll be checking the Utilization Report later this week to see the biggest takeaways from this split.
