5 Key Nuggets To Win You A 'Ship
Championship Week news...
There are only two groups of people this morning …
1) Derrick Henry managers, who start today with a 45.6-point cushion after a face-melting performance (36-216-4).
2) Non-Derrick Henry managers, who start today in a 45.6-point hole.
Regardless of whether you are trying to successfully land the championship plane or Hail Mary your way to an improbable victory, here’s everything you need to know before setting your lineup today …
🙏 Hendo is expected to play. Despite suffering a head injury last week, Patriots rookie RB TreVeyon Henderson has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play today. The Jets “defense” is about as real as Santa Claus at this point, which makes Hendo the perfect swing-for-the-fences start for those in catch-up mode.
🎲 Shenanigans in Las Vegas? This matchup between the Raiders and Giants today is as weird as they come. On the one hand, you have two teams trying to out-tank each other and get the No. 1 pick. On the other hand, you have two defenses that are so bad that they are in contention for the No. 1 pick. That said—GMs tank, players & coaches play. I’m not shying away from starting active players in this game. Ashton Jeanty is in a smash spot (RB10 for us), and I’d have no problem starting Tyrone Tracy or Wan'Dale Robinson in a pinch. Check our full ranks if you have specific start/sit dilemmas.
🚑️ Updates on the Browns rookies. Despite a brief scare yesterday with a groin injury, Harold Fannin Jr. is good to go today. He’s our consensus TE2 this week … It’s also worth keeping an eye on this backfield. Dylan Sampson got in three limited practices this week and could return. If so, he’s a decent FLEX option. If he doesn’t, the same goes for Raheim Sanders.
🎭️ More Cardinals WR drama. We once again have to deal with the Michael Wilson vs. Marvin Harrison situation, although Harrison’s snaps are likely “to be managed.” I lean Wilson here if forced to choose, but would prefer not to deal with the headache—especially because Trey McBride (+7.7 boost) and Michael Carter (+5.7 boost) get the specifically juicy matchups.
📆 Don’t count on Kittle tonight. Oof, George Kittle hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle sprain and looks like a true GTD. You’ll either want a clean swap option (Colston Loveland on SNF, Colby Parkinson on MNF) or need to start someone today (maybe Taysom Hill or Michael Mayer?).
Good luck today …

Week 17 Injury Report: Keeping Tabs on George Kittle
George Kittle had the look of a league winner heading into Championship Week. Since Week 10, he’s gone over 60 yards in every game and scored 5 touchdowns. His biggest game was his most recent, going 7-115-1 against theColts on Monday night. The problem is he sustained an ankle injury that ended his night and he did not practice all week, putting his availability for Sunday night in jeopardy.
