3 WRs With Shaky Outlooks Today
Week 15 news...
The fantasy semifinals are off to a wild start. Seahawks/Rams treated us to overtime on TNF and then last night Caleb Williams and DJ Moore connected for a surreal walk-off TD at the end of overtime vs. the Packers.
Now we set our sights on the Sunday main slate, where managers have tricky decisions with three WRs …
Drake London (knee) - London will make his return to action vs. the Cardinals today for the first time since Week 12. He had a weird week of practice (two limited practices and then a DNP on Friday), so there is some risk here. Still, all but one of our rankers have London as a top-12 WR play.
Lean: Even if he’s somewhat limited, the potential for TDs is too good to bench. I’m starting him where I got him.
Tee Higgins (concussion) - Higgins is likely to play today after fully participating in Friday’s practice and getting cleared from the NFL’s concussion protocol.
Lean: Assuming he’s active, I’m not afraid to play him. He’s a top-20 WR play this week. He’s especially attractive if you need ceiling in your matchup. If you think you are a big favorite, I wouldn’t fault you for starting a Jakobi Meyers-type (WR22) over him.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) - This is less about Marv and more about what we do with Michael Wilson. The Schefter report on Marv said he’ll play, but “the team plans to ease him back in.” It’s a great matchup for both, considering the Falcons allow the No. 5 fantasy boost (+4) to opposing WRs.
Lean: The last time Harrison returned to the lineup, Wilson put up a disappointing 3-36 line. This time feels different, though, with the chatter about easing in Harrison. Like London, there is some risk, but our crew is treating Wilson as a fringe top-12 option. I prefer London of the two, but Wilson is still a strong start.
The only other injury to keep an eye on today is the status of Woody Marks, who is dealing with an ankle injury but is trending toward playing. If he goes, it’s a great matchup vs. the Raiders. If he sits, Jawhar Jordan is a very viable plug-and-play.
Good luck today …

The Bills DST Could be the Ticket to Victory
Are you looking for a streaming defense with the fantasy semifinals here? Look no further than the Bills defense. Yes, teams have been running on them—RBs are averaging 115.1 rush yards against them, third most in the league—but things might be lining up for them to dominate in Cleveland, so notes Jonathan Fuller:
“The Bills now face off against the Browns in a game where Buffalo is currently favored by 10.5 points. Buffalo has been vulnerable to opposing rushing attacks this year, but the fact that they are heavy favorites, along with a Browns offense that ranks 26th in run block win rate, makes me confident the Bills defense can control this game.”
Fuller further explains why the Bills are a defense to target, and offers up other options for teams looking at a one-week upgrade at the position. Every point counts, even a sack or a fumble recovery could punch your ticket to the finals. ⤵️
