🍺 1. Josh Allen & the Bills are still king

It wasn't the fireworks display we were hoping for, but the Bills went into Kansas City and gutted out an impressive 24-20 win. Josh Allen (329 yards & 3 TDs; 12-32 on the ground) remains the most electric talent at the position and a fantasy force. Stefon Diggs popped off for a classic alpha game (10-148-1), and Gabe Davis stayed hot with another TD on just 3 catches. I have a feeling this won't be their last matchup of the year.

🍺 2. Burrow & Chase throw a homecoming bash in NOLA

You just knew Burrow was going to have himself a day when he showed up to the Superdome wearing Chase's jersey from LSU's National Championship game. The Bengals snuck a 30-26 road win thanks to big days from the two Tigers alums. Burrow threw for 300 yards and combined for 4 TDs, two of which went to Chase (7-132-2).

🍺 3. The Dolphins duo is QB-proof

Tua didn't suit up today and Skylar Thompson left the game with a thumb injury, but that didn't stop Tyreek Hill (12-177) and Jaylen Waddle (6-129) from producing big days. The Dolphins didn't get the W, but around these parts, we primarily care about consistent fantasy production. The condensed nature of this offense continues to be a great gift to fantasy managers.

🍺 4. The bizzaro Colts go wild

I'm not sure what happened over the past ten days, but this was not the Colts team that we watched on Thursday Night Football. They played surprisingly fast and set a season-high for offensive plays on their way to a 34-27 win over the Jaguars. RB fill-in Deon Jackson did his best Jonathan Taylor impression (12-42-1; 10-79), and Michael Pittman stuffed the PPR stat sheet (13-134). Matt Ryan somehow threw for 389 yards for 3 TDs, which should at least temporarily quiet some of the "he's cooked" chatter.

🍺 5. Tyquan Thornton & Wan'Dale Robinson breakout party

You could certainly write up Rhamondre Stevenson (19-76-2; 4-15) in this space, but that performance was somewhat expected with Damien Harris inactive. What wasn't expected was the rookie WR bursting on the scene in a big way. In his second career game, he found the end zone twice, once through the air (4-37-1) and once on the ground (3-16-1).

Speaking of rookie breakouts, Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson found the endzone in his debut and posted some very encouraging peripherals:

The year of the rookie WR doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

🍺 6. Mark Andrews is the TE final boss

We are at the point with Andrews where a 7-106-1 line feels ho-hum. That's a testament to how dominant he's been this season. When you factor in the positional edge he gives you each and every week over your opponent, it wouldn't be crazy to consider him fantasy's MVP through six weeks.

Oh no, is that what I think it is? Ugh, yup, another Broncos primetime game. This time they head to Los Angeles, where the Chargers will host them as 4.5-point home favorites in a game with a total that's just begging for the under (45.5).

Russell Wilson reportedly underwent a "procedure" on his shoulder after last Thursday's loss, but is apparently fine for tonight. The Chargers will once again be without Keenan Allen (hamstring).

Timing is crucial when it comes to sports betting. Lines get released late on Sunday night, and every Monday Kendall drops by to give you her first look at the betting markets.

💸 New York Giants (+125) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This is the first time since 2009 that the Giants have started 5-1 or better, and between the incredible coaching mixed with grit from the team, I don’t see their dominant run-stopping against the 2-4 Jaguars. The Giants should not be +2.5 point underdogs here.

These are two teams heading in opposite directions. The Jaguars have lost three straight, while the Giants are riding a three-game winning streak. Expect the early money coming in for the underdog Giants to push the moneyline and spread, so bet this early before it moves.

If you want to believe in anything during this matchup, believe Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll will put together a hell of a game plan.

They’re a second-half team, so don’t lose hope if they get into a hole early. They have been outscored in the first half (64-40), but they have outscored their opponents in the second half, 87-49.

They are the more complete team in this game. On Sunday, QB Daniel Jones did not throw an interception for the third straight game, and the Giants converted seven third-down opportunities, which was their highest total since December 2021.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence hasn’t been the problem, but also hasn’t been the solution in Jacksonville — they are 2-4 on the season with a top-10 defense and an offense that ranks in the top half of the league.

It seems that when one unit is working, the other is not. They had a 244-yard rushing day on Sunday and still lost. The Jaguars also haven’t proved that they can stop the short game, getting gashed by opponents throwing short, quick passes.

The Giants are more than just Saquon Barkley on offense and are proving to be more than just a trendy Cinderella team.
